Your mother still won't let me visit. She even yelled at me the other day when I came by. I thought it'd be different after the Festival. I was hoping my gift would make a difference. I don't understand why she doesn't like me. I've tried everything. It's only gotten worse.

I was going through my room today, and found my sword in one of my drawers. I hadn't used it in so long it so long it had dust on it, and the blade is barely even sharp anymore. I remember when I used to practice fencing for at least an hour every day, but now I can't even remember the last time I used it. I think it was in Ilserna, maybe, with Lady Tyrande. I've been so busy with my lessons, and... everything else, I hadn't even thought about it.
I used to be really good with it, or at least I think I was. My instructor always had good things to say. I should learn again. I don't think it would take me long to remember everything I learned before.
